Composite Decking
We know how to clean, seal, or stain your aging or failing composite deck for less then 10% of what you spent on it.
We purchased Choice Deck at Lowes 6 years ago I wish I didn’t. It is not maintenance free. For it to look its best I have to either wash it twice a year or wash and seal it once a season. When it is 3x the price of pressure treated your expectations are much higher. I recommend going with a 100% plastic or PVC type decking instead. Yes you will still have to wash it to keep it clean, but you will not have a major mold fight like the encapsulate wood fiber trex or choice deck.
The good news is their are now composite stains and sealers to help keep the mold out of the porous surfaces. We can also replace boards if necessary.
